Do you want to know all about labour and birth, but in a fun, caring and non-judgemental way?

Session Two:

    Recap on labour and birth and your choices
    What happens immediately after birth, postnatal checks for mum and baby
    Taking baby home, discharge and postnatal recovery
    Emotions for both parents and siblings

    The first few weeks  - what to expect.
    Home/midwife visit
    Mum’s postnatal body, recovery and tips
    Exercise and Sexercise
    Baby Blues and symptoms
    What is postnatal depression?  Men and women signs, you are not alone.

Session Three:
    Making your baby home ready
    What baby equipment do you need – the essentials and the optionals!

    How to change baby's nappy, bathe and dress a baby.

    How to breast feed and bottle feed.
    Baby’s sleeping patterns, day and night – are all baby’s the same?

    Baby first aid
    Answer any of your questions or concerns.

Session Four:  Lesson and social time.

Hypnobirthing and how Partners can feel relaxed and useful

Recap on everything taught and how to construct your birthing plan

A social time to get know each other, talk  about anything and everything.

Session Five:

Reunion with babies - 6 weeks after everyone has given birth.  A chance to meet up

and ask Emma

any questions.

The classes are held either in Saffron Walden, Stansted, Cambridge and  Wendens Ambo

which is 1 mile outside of Saffron Walden.   The halls are warm, comfortable and cosy an has

car parking for ease.  Emma also supplies refreshments and snacks, Handouts and information

to take home is available.

Payment can be made by BACs or credit card and can either be paid in full or in two instalments.
