These awarding classes are endorsed by midwives nationwide and have received 1000s of 5 star reviews. They are up to date informing parents of their choices for labour and birth. Emma has helped over 6700 pregnancies and births and ensures that everyone leaves feeling confident and empowered to give birth and care for their baby they want to. We will cover: Pregnancy Care Preparing for birth and labour Choices of birth - hospital and home Stages of labour and how to cope Labour positions and how to speed it up. Different pain relief and breathing techniques Hypnobirthing techniques and practice Roles of the partners so they feel useful for birth and looking after baby Hospital and home births - what to expect and how to prepare What you need to take to hospital and are your home ready? Postnatal care of both parents, how to heal after birth and what to expect. How to look after your baby(s) with information on sleep, changing nappy, feeding choices (no judgement), bathing and general information. Practical session on bathing baby, changing and how to swaddle Baby First aid Emma's teaching is modern, non-judgemental, fair and fun! She welcomes everyone. These classes are held in either Saffron Walden or Wendens Ambo (1 mile outside of Saffron Walden). Both halls are warm, comfortable and cosy with amble parking. You can either pay by BAC or Card and either in full or two instalments for ease. The halls have a ramp for any disabilities. Hot, cold drinks and snacks provided. Trained by midwives and birthing specialists and inspected by the Federation of Antenatal and Childbirth Trust. Emma is here to help you.
